Sadly, I'm still unemployed. It's going on 9 months now, which is just ridiculous. : / I'm still receiving benefits, budgeting as much as possible, and hunting for a decent paying job. But yeah, getting tired of my "extended vacation".
However, I've been doing a lot of other stuff. I've been attending a lot of conventions, doing artist alley at a couple, and just generally enjoying that. Most costumes have been rewears or I'm making them from extra fabric I have lying around. I'm still working on my store and doing my blog, the latter taking off unexpectedly in the cosplay community. I'm glad the brainchild has been successful and helpful and has really received only positivity from everyone. <3
I've also been getting back into modeling, specifically on the cosplay side of things. I plan to branch out again into fashion and eventually swimwear. It's been a positive thing as well, since it's helped me get comfortable with my body image again and gain more weight.
On the convention front, I'll be attending Nan Desu Kan here in Colorado on September 9-11, working as a "booth babe" for my friends,
and 
, at their booth in artist alley. After that, I'll be attending Anime Weekend Atlanta in Georgia with Last Chance Myu. Those are my final cons for the year, but I do have a few costumes I'll be working on.Costumes currently in the works are Karla from Record of Lodoss Wars, Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil films, and finishing up Healed Galaxia from Sailor Moon. Karla should be debuted at Nan Desu Kan, as I've been working pretty hardcore on her.
I'm also still selling EGL Rei and Advent Children's version of Tifa. I'll be listing them on Ebay soon, along with some other items that I have no use for. XD
